Halff provided civil and MEP engineering services for the renovation of an existing distribution center into a border patrol station.
The administration/detention building is 46,000 sf with an existing vehicle maintenance building on site. A new 180-ton central plant serves the facility and includes two chillers, primary/secondary pumps and pipe. HVAC systems also include smoke purge and detention grade equipment. Plumbing systems include standard sewer, water and vent. Electrical design includes lighting, power distribution, data and a 100 percent emergency backup system.
